FUND THE BUND, DONATE A SPADEFUL £1

A bund is a dam in a canal. The dam is at Stainton at the present end of navigation, it consists of earth and rubble tipped under bridge 172 and extending southwards and into the now car park.

As the First Furlong approaches completion the dam will soon soon need to be removed the costly hire of an excavator and lorry will be required. Please help the trust and donate a spadeful. Evry little helps!
