Our bund is at Stainton the head of the watered section of the Northern Reaches. It is under bridge 172 extending northwards and into the now Stainton car park. As restoration of the "first furlong" draws to a close we are preparing to remove the bund whch will mean the cost of transport to remove several hundred tons of earth and rubble.
