Questionnaire on the Northern Reaches of the Lancaster Canal

The opening of the Ribble Link has enabled many boaters from the main network to visit the Lancaster Canal and enjoy its lock free main line and the beautiful scenery of Lancashire. This questionnaire has been produced to try to get feedback from visitors on the Lancaster Canal's currently navigable section, and their support for the proposed Northern Reaches restoration through to Kendal. We would be very grateful if you could spare a few minutes to complete the questionnaire about your visit and return it to the address on the form, or complete the online version below.

In addition, for boaters who have cruised the whole length of the currently navigable canal to Tewitfield, there is an opportunity to aquire a unique brass plaque to celebrate your achievement for £8.50 (includes P&P). If you wish to acquire one of these please make sure while you are visiting Tewitfield you take a photo of your boat.

Your support is appreciated as part of the justification for grants and funding for the restoration. We are always interested in the benefits that might accrue to the local economy by use of local shops, restaurants and visitor attractions. Finally we would like to know if the information that the LCT and Lancaster Canal Regeneration Partnership puts out is useful, and provides the opportunity for you to become involved in our work.
