The next Social Meeting will be on 5th June

After the success of the last meeting the trust is having another social meeting in June. The meeting will be at Guy’s Thatched Hamlet in Tommy Hatton’s room, on the left of the bar at Owd Nell’s. The meeting will start at 7.30pm but the room will be available from 7pm to give an opportunity for talking to fellow members and guests.

There will be 2 speakers. Brian Crawley from Carnforth Coke Ovens will give an update on what has been happening with the Coke Ovens near the Lancaster Canal and Peter Jones will talk about the work on the First Furlong.

There will be an opportunity to join the 100 club for those who are not members and also a raffle to help pay for the room hire, (if anyone has any prizes to donate please bring them along).

The trustees hope you will come along to find out what is happening on the canal, chat to fellow members and have a fun evening.

Guy’s Thatched Hamlet is just off the A6 at Bilsborrow near the market town of Garstang.
